Our traditions

We the canoeists of ACJC have certain traditions to uphold. Here are just a few examples:

1. Saying the pledge and “squeezing” after every training.
2. Getting first/second at any dragon-boat competition.
3. The tradition were by the seniors give the juniors the cool competition tank.
4. Training during public holidays.
5. Hogging the pull-up bar, always meet at pull-up bar.
6. Pole-ing the birthday boy during his birthday!
7. Bringing cards where ever we go and playing bridge!! (UPDATED TO TRADITIONS!)
8. Wearing the erm… ‘unique’ UPS look-alike d boat tee for Dragon boat competitions.
9. Handing this blog down to ONE chosen junior (the coolest, obviously) at the end of each season.

This is the list of pending activities that are going to be or being promoted to be our traditions.

• Bringing coins after training so that everyone share coins and buy drinks.
• Eating together after every training (BTM, Dover market, Coronation (and no jeff, going coro isn’t SJI-ish!))
