No password is required for this blog because we believe in the principle of good governance-Transparency. We hide nothing from our coaches, our seniors, our teachers. (At the present moment at least).

About the goals of this blog: To archive every key moment in our club and to recollect fond memories of being part of this club. To have fun, talk crap, waste time.

    I’m a member of the NUS Canoeing Club. I’d like to publicize a biathlon competition we’re holding on the 23rd of May – ‘Legs & Paddles 2009′. There are basically There are 3 major categories:

    1. The ‘Challenge’ category, comprising of a 12-km run and a 6-km kayak, to be completed by an individual, using a singles kayak in the kayaking leg. This event is divided into 2 categories: ‘Men’ and ‘Women’;

    2. The ‘Open’ category, comprising of a 8-km run and a 4-km kayak, to be completed by an individual/pair, using a singles/doubles kayak in the kayaking leg. This event is further divided into 5 categories: ‘Men’s Solo’, ‘Men’s Doubles’, ‘Women’s Solo’, ‘Women’s Doubles’ and ‘Mixed Doubles’;

    3. The ‘Team’ category, which sees participants competing in teams of four and completing a 8-km run and a 4-km kayak. It is segregated into two categories: ‘Under-19 (of age)’ and ‘Above-19 (of age)’.
